TCS renews partnership with the London Marathon until 2029

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its title partnership of the London Marathon until 2029. TCS has been the title partner of the London Marathon since 2022, plus the event’s official technology partner since 2016.

The extended agreement covers the 2028 and 2029 editions of the TCS London Marathon, TCS Mini London Marathon and TCS Mini London Marathon in schools and strengthens a partnership that has inspired hundreds of thousands around the globe to be active.

The partnership has spanned the most successful period in the London Marathon’s history. Since 2022, more than 219,000 people have completed either the TCS London Marathon or TCS London Marathon My Way, including a record-breaking 56,640 finishers in 2025 while a world-record-breaking 1,113,813 people entered the ballot for the 2026 edition.More than a quarter of a billion pounds has been raised for charity by participants since 2022, including more than £87 million in 2025, another world record.

TCS’s technological expertise has helped deliver the official event app and introduced innovations such as the  digital TCS London Marathon Finish Line gantry. 

The partnership has also launched the stand-alone TCS Mini London Marathon and the TCS Mini London Marathon in schools events, which are key components of LME’s drive to get more children enjoying activity on a regular basis.

Since the event launch in 2022, TCS has donated £10 to every TCS Mini London Marathon finisher which can be used on school sport or technology equipment. More than 38,000 children and young people have finished the TCS Mini London Marathon since 2022, with more than a quarter of a million pounds being claimed by schools from TCS. Furthermore, more than 1.75 million children have registered to take part in the TCS Mini London Marathon in schools. Since 2023, TCS has provided nearly 100 teachers with VIP entry into the TCS London Marathon with another 39 set to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon.

The 2026 TCS London Marathon takes place on Sunday 26 April with the TCS Mini London Marathon taking place a day earlier on Saturday 25 April.
