Run Communications and Two Circles have been appointed by the organising committee for the upcoming WTT Star Contender London and WTTTC 2026 to deliver PR, comms and ticket marketing services for two global events. Hosted across two London 2012 competition venues – OVO Wembley Arena and the Copper Box – the events mark a return to the sport's roots in London, where the sport was first created, and 100 years on from the inaugural world championships.
Run Communications is supporting the event marketing, PR, and social impact programme. Two Circles will lead on event ticket marketing for both WTT Star Contender London and the WTTTC 2026, with the sport boasting 500 million players and fans globally.
Sally Lockyer, CEO of Table Tennis England, welcomed the joint appointment ahead of a major moment for the sport: “This is a once in a generation opportunity to connect with wider audiences and create new fans for life, all underpinned by our steadfast commitment to changing lives through tables tennis. Marking the 100 years anniversary, we are excited to honour this significant occasion for the sport and welcome everyone to attend what will be two fantastic events.”
Steve Chisholm, Managing Director and Founder at Run Communciations added: “This will be a global celebration for the sport and a moment in time to supercharge the future of table tennis.”
