Sports, music, and entertainment company Wasserman has acquired football talent representation business, Unik Sports Management. As part of the acquisition, Unik Sports Management Founder and CEO Carlota Planas will join Wasserman as Vice President, Women’s Football, Global.
Since its launch in Barcelona in 2020, Unik Sports Management has represented some of the world's top players. Its roster includes Claudia Pina, Mariona Caldentey, Cata Coll, Lola Gallardo, Estefanía Banini, Martina Fernández, Cristina Martín-Prieto, and Aylín Aviléz, among other elite athletes.
These players will join Wasserman’s existing women’s football roster, highlighted by Tierna Davidson, Emily Fox, Naomi Girma, Lindsey Heaps, Casey Krueger, Alex Morgan, Olivia Moultrie, Jenna Nighswonger, Alessia Russo, Jaedyn Shaw, Mallory Swanson and Sophia Wilson.
The acquisition of Unik Sports Management strengthens Wasserman’s global women's football practice. In 2024, the group expanded its presence by acquiring Volante Sports, based in the UK, and hiring its Director, Luca Russo.
