Liverpool to host Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival

Liverpool’s waterfront will host a week-long festival bringing together elite disability sport and disabled-led arts and culture in 2027.
Billed as the first UK event of its kind, the Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival will feature four international competitions across boccia, para athletics, wheelchair rugby and paracanoe, alongside an international arts and cultural programme.
Venues will include the M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre at the Liverpool Experience Campus, Salthouse and Albert Docks, and Pier Head, with accessibility and inclusion central to the event’s planning.
UKEL, the not-for-profit company helping to secure and deliver major sporting events across the UK, will use OnePlan’s cloud-based event planning platform to support delivery. The festival will be the first event supported under a new three-year partnership between the two organisations.
