Chase extends ITV football sponsorship to include England Women’s matches

Chase has expanded its sponsorship of ITV’s England football coverage to include Senior England Women’s internationals until 2028, building on its existing partnership covering the Senior England Men’s team, which began in 2025.

The extension comes amid growing interest in women’s football. According to YouGov research, 31% of English adults reported increased interest in the women’s game following the Lionesses’ UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 triumph. The final attracted a peak combined audience of 16.2 million across ITV and BBC.

The agreement covers TV, digital and social media, with Chase branding appearing throughout ITV’s live, free-to-air coverage, including ITVX and STV platforms.

The creative campaign celebrates iconic goals from England’s football history, recreating memorable moments including Geoff Hurst’s 1966 World Cup goal against West Germany and Beth Mead’s strike against Norway at UEFA Women’s EURO 2022.

WPP Media is responsible for creative strategy and execution, sponsorship management, media planning and buying.

The expanded partnership complements Chase’s position as Official Banking Partner of the Home Nations Football Associations and its investment in grassroots coaching. Through its football coaching programme, Chase has funded 7,000 coaching qualifications, with 5,000 completed to date, helping remove financial barriers to coaching opportunities across the four nations.

The extension illustrates how brands are increasingly recognising women’s football as an important platform for reaching engaged audiences, while connecting broadcast sponsorship with wider investment in the game.
