Cricket Scotland appoints Global Sports Media to secure commercial partners

Cricket Scotland has appointed London-based Global Sports Media to develop its commercial proposition and find new partners ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE and Oman.  The Global Sports Media team has a strong track record in cricket and has been responsible for securing exposure for brands such as Vertu Motors, Sage, Whitley Neill Gin, Kia, Durham University and Kingfisher.

The ICC T20 World Cup is the global top tier of the T20 format and is made up of 16 teams, presenting a huge opportunity for major brands across the world.  Gus Mackay, CEO of Cricket Scotland said: “Global Sports Media has an impressive record of connecting brands and rights holders. It’s an exciting time for Cricket Scotland with the ICC T20 World Cup ahead of us and we are confident that working with Global Sports Media we’ll attract commercial partners to join us in continuing the raise the profile of the game in Scotland.”
